Five Men Attempt to Kidnap Orthodox Jew in London (4/26/24)

A Jewish man was attacked by five men on Friday in the Stamford Hill section of London.

According to the Stamford Hill Shomrim, a Jewish civilian watch organization, the five individuals approached the Jewish man, threatened him, and demanded he get into the trunk of their car.

The incident ended when the victim said he was calling the police & other vehicles approached.

“Five teenagers, three aged 17, one 15 and one 18-years-old have been arrested and taken into custody in connection with a reported attempted kidnap in Stamford Hill. Officers in Hackney are investigating the incident which happened on Friday in Moundfield Road, N16. The five arrested have now been released on bail. Enquiries are continuing into the circumstances of this incident.” Hackney Police shared.

Antisemitic incidents have been on the rise in the UK since the war between Israel and Hamas began.
